The 852-603 is an industrial, configurable managed Ethernet switch with 8 copper ports 10/100BASE-TX and 2 SFP slots configurable as 100BASE-FX or 1000BASE-SX/LX. The switch has a robust housing, a redundant power supply and function monitoring with relays. The PROFINET certificate (conformity class B) guarantees easy integration into PROFINET automation systems by means of a device description file (GSD). The device also supports PROFINET Netload Class II. The device supports flexible configuration of multi-port mirroring via the device description file or Web-based management. Using function blocks, the cyclic diagnostics of the PROFINET Switch can be efficiently implemented in the TIA Portal. An application note is available for this purpose.
