NF-A6X25 PWM 5V Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM 5V fan, 60 mm

The NF-A6x25 5V PWM is a special 5V version of Noctua's highly optimized silent 60x25mm premium fan, which uses the AAO frame system and advanced aerodynamic design measures such as flow acceleration channels. The specially designed NE-FD1 PWM IC with integrated smooth commutation Drive technology and the reference class bearing SSO2 guarantee excellent running smoothness and excellent long-term stability. Modular cabling, the OmniJoin™ adapter set and 6 years manufacturer's warranty make the NF-A6x25 5V PWM a premium solution for demanding 5V applications with PWM control.

5V version with PWM Especially in devices from the areas of network and storage, 60mm PWM-controlled fans with 5V are often used. With the same operating voltage, PWM support and the included OminiJoin™ adapter set, which allows connection to proprietary connectors, the NF-A6x25 PWM 5V is ideal for replacing noisy or defective 5V 60mm fans with PWM.

Reverse Polarity Protection Since many devices with 5V fans use proprietary connectors and there is often no documentation of the pin assignment available, the fan is protected against reverse polarity by an internal diode. This way, you are always on the safe side if you accidentally connect it with reverse polarity.

Reduced Engine Lift Size Thanks to an optimized, compact engine design, the hub area of the NF-A6x25 is significantly smaller than with conventional 6cm fans. Thus, a larger blade area could be realized, which contributes to the superior pressure and flow rate of the NF-A6x25.

Flow Acceleration Channels The impeller of the NF-A6x25 is equipped with so-called flow acceleration channels on the suction side. The acceleration of the air flow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces the suction-side vortex-ablation, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emission.

AAO frame system Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frames have built-in vibration buffers and a stepped inlet design (stepped inlet Design) and an interior microstructure (Inner surface Microstructures), which enable even better performance/noise efficiency.

Inner Surface Microstructures The microstructure inside the frame (Inner surface Microstructures) creates a boundary layer through which the tips of the fan blades move. This reduces the current separation from the suction side of the leaf tips, which results in a significant reduction of the rotton and an increase in the efficiency of the pressure and airflow.

Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads The anti-vibration pads, made from extra-soft silicone, reduce the transmission of minimal vibrations and are compatible with all standard screws as well as standard mounting systems or fan clips used in CPU coolers.

PWM IC WITH SCD The fan supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's specially designed NE-FD1 chip for this purpose. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.

SSO2 Storage system The NF-A6x25 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Comprehensive Connectivity Options While the 20cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension provides extra range for all cases. Both cables are fully sheathed and a 4-pin Y-cable allows a second PWM fan to be controlled at the same connection.

OmniJoin™ Adapter set Since many devices, in which 60mm fans are used, have proprietary fan connectors, the NF-A6x25 5V PWM is supplied with Noctuas OmniJoin™ adapter set. Simply cut off the cable from the original fan, attach it to the adapter with the supplied 3M Scotchlok™ terminals and you can also operate the NF-A6x25 5V PWM on proprietary connections!
