The GPT-9900 series of cost-effective safety testers (hipot testers) meets a wide range of standards such as IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB and JIS, as well as other safety-related requirements for safety tests of electronic products and components.

These devices are built on a platform with a maximum power output of 500 VA AC. The GPT-9904 is also capable of performing AC/DC dielectric strength checks, as well as insulation and earthing measurements. The devices are also equipped with a highly efficient PWM amplifier that forms the core of the platform design to prevent the influence of the AC input voltage and ensure a stable output voltage.

Other important functions and features include the rear panel output for system applications, wire breakage detection to ensure proper connection of earthing test equipment, 100 memory groups to store and retrieve control panel settings for individual or sequential tests, and a remote output and signal I/O port as a means of starting and stopping the safety tester remotely. RS-232C, USB and GPIB interfaces (optional) for PC remote control and logging test results complete the range of functions.
