In plant engineering and machine building, housings usually have to withstand significant external influences. The functionality of the installed parts must not be impaired despite dust forming, moisture and external stress. BOXEXPERT offers the Alster housing series as a robust aluminium housing for various applications. In addition to the external protection of electronic components, the housing is ideal for the use of EMC-critical applications thanks to the material properties (AlSi 12, according to DIN EN 1706). In combination with special EMC cable glands, comprehensive basic protection for electromagnetic compatibility is achieved. A special EMC coating allows unwanted interference currents to be dissipated via the housing wall. Particularly in automation technology, such effects play a major role in choosing housings. The Alster BOXEXPERT are manufactured using a die-casting process, which results in high process stability and minimum production tolerances.
