Power switch for your Raspberry Pi with soft shutdown function

The SHIM (Shove Hardware in the Middle) board is only 1 mm thick (without assembly) and can be plugged directly between the Raspberry Pi and a shield onto the GPIO pins and soldered or can be plugged onto the GPIO with the solderable adapter.

Use Simply plug your micro USB power adapter into the Micro-B port on the OnOff SHIM, then press the button once to turn on the power and start your Pi. Once you have installed the software, you can press the button again to initiate a clean shutdown and completely interrupt the power supply of your Pi.

Software As soon as the button is pressed, the software initiates a clean shutdown and then completely disconnects the Pi from the power supply.

Supplied without Raspberry Pi and without housing

Note Although it is possible to use OnOff SHIM and a 2.5 a USB Micro B power supply to power a Raspberry Pi 4, the recommended current specification for the Pi 4 is 3 amps. Especially when using USB devices, there may be problems with the power supply.
