In plant engineering and mechanical engineering, housings usually have to withstand considerable external influences. Despite the development of dust, moisture and external stress, the functionality of the installations must not be impaired. BOXEXPERT offers the Alster housing series as a robust aluminum housing for various applications. In addition to the external protection of electronic components, the housing is ideally suited for the use of EMC-critical applications due to its material properties (AlSi 12, in accordance with DIN EN 1706). In combination with special EMC cable glands, comprehensive basic protection for electromagnetic compatibility is achieved. An EMC special coating allows undesirable interference currents to be dissipated via the housing wall. Especially in automation technology, such effects play a major role in the selection of housings. The BOXEXPERT Alster enclosures are manufactured using the die-casting process, which results in high process stability and thus minimum manufacturing tolerances.
