The soldering vapour extractor offered here is used for the extraction of soldering vapours at the soldering workplace to prevent the inhalation of the harmful soldering vapours and to filter the soldering vapours out of the air. The solder fume extractor works with easily replaceable activated carbon filters.

Soldering work generates soldering fumes which are classified as hazardous to health. Since the introduction of lead-free solders with the associated higher soldering temperatures, it is particularly the more aggressive fluxes that cause these harmful and annoying fumes. Solder vapour extractors are therefore strongly recommended by the professional associations as well as by the Institute for Occupational Safety of the BfA.
