Homematic IP motion detector with twilight sensor - outdoor

The Homematic IP motion detector with twilight sensor is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and reliably detects movements and changes in ambient brightness both indoors and outdoors. The motion detector can be used as an alarm sensor in the Homematic IP system or for brightness-dependent light switching by linking it to other Homematic IP products via the free app. The switch-on time can be limited. In addition to motion detection, the integrated twilight sensor also reports the respective brightness value to the Homematic IP app.

The splash-proof sensor works reliably at temperatures between minus 20 °C and plus 55 °C. It covers a range of up to 10 km. It covers a range of up to 8 meters and a detection angle of around 90°. It can also be rotated through 360°. Thanks to its compact dimensions and radio communication, the sensor can be placed very flexibly. The required mounting material, the wall mount and two AA batteries, which can supply the motion detector with energy for up to six years, are included in the delivery.
