Automatic and comfortable control of the room temperature by means of heating as required

The Homematic IP radiator thermostat - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home System and actively helps to save energy. The smart regulator replaces conventional radiator thermostats, which can achieve energy savings of up to 30%.

The thermostat is mounted on the radiator without any intervention in the heating system and without any tools. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries, which can supply energy for approximately 2 years. Thanks to the pre-set heating profile, the radiator thermostat is ready for immediate use - ­dieses can be adjusted manually at any time if required. Individual temperature curves with up to 13 changes are possible per day. Homematic IP only heats certain rooms when there is a real need.

The setup can be done flexibly on the device itself, via Homematic IP App (in conjunction with the Homematic IP Access point) or via a browser-based interface (in conjunction with a control panel CCU2/CCU3). Alternatively, the smart thermostat can also be operated without a control panel: The stand-alone operation (push-to-pair) allows direct learning of up to eight window and door contacts with magnet (HmIP-SWDM) for automatic lowering of the room temperature during ventilation.

Via the app, the radiator thermostat can be integrated into a comprehensive smart home system. For example, the cloud solution allows you to adjust the temperature at any time from any location. If you prefer to know the data locally on your home network, but still want to benefit from the advantages of a smart home system, you can use the facility via the CCU3 control panel.
