This compact switch provides five Plug & Play connections to small offices, working groups and department networks with 10/100/1000 Mbit. The Gigabit switch comes without fans and is thus optimal for use directly at the workplace.

The DGS-1005D supports speeds of up to 2000 Mbit/s (full duplex) as well as flow control in accordance with IEEE 802.3x for rapid and continuous data transfers. In order to guarantee reliable data transfer including for time-critical applications, the desktop switch supports the 802.1p (QoS) protocol.
