10412 Smoke detector, GSM

The perfect combination of a battery-powered smoke detector from Ei Electronics and the reliable, specially developed and also battery-powered 4G LTE-M/2G module from Mobeye make the Mobeye smoke detector CM4400 more than a simple smoke detector. This is because unlike ordinary smoke detectors, the CM4400, when smoke is detected, in addition to the built-in siren, also alerts preset contacts via push message/phone/SMS/email. The standardized SIA DC09 protocol also allows transmission to a private emergency call center (PAC). Classic application areas are vacation homes, garages, warehouses, boats, mobile homes, caravans, basement rooms, construction sites, care facilities, vacant properties, etc.

For communication, the Mobeye (M2M) SIM card is included with the product. This low-cost "multi-provider" SIM card ensures communication over the 4G LTE-M network (with 2G as fallback). This SIM card also provides use of the Mobeye Internet Portal and App for greater convenience and optimal security. The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable, has strong penetration and also offers low power consumption. The SIM card for the Mobeye CM4400, which has to be activated online, costs EUR 4.00 per month. This is a fixed amount based on fair use.

Optionally, a separate (micro) SIM card can be used. The device will then work (only) with 2G and without using the Mobeye portal. Alarm notifications are sent via SMS and phone call to (max.) 5 contacts. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.
