This shrink tube from Delock is used on a variety of items that require a non-slip grip, such as tools, fitness equipment, tennis rackets or fishing rods. When exposed to heat, the hose wraps the handle completely and contracts. This protects the handle from the elements and mechanical damage.

Use of heat-shrink tubing The heat-shrinkable tubing can be heated with a heat gun, whereby the tubing shrinks to half its original diameter when heated at a shrinkage rate of 2:1.
