Residual current circuit breakers (RCBOs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection for sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC fault current component of up to 10 mA to earth. As well as fault protection (protection in case of indirect contact), additional protection and fire protection. They comply with the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20), IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21).

Areas of use include household, commercial and industrial applications. The compact design of the DS301C FI/LS is ideal for use in power distribution systems where space is at a premium. The series is available with 30 mA differential residual current and a B or C tripping characteristic.
