Residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) offer personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. The F200 B series residual current circuit breakers provide protection against sinusoidal alternating currents, pulsating currents and smooth DC residual currents against earth. As well as residual current protection (protection against indirect contact), it offers additional protection (with residual operating current = 30 mA) and fire protection (with residual operating current = 300 mA). They meet the product standards for type A IEC/EN 61008-1, 61008-2-1, 61543 (VDE 0664 10, 11, 30) and type B DIN EN 62423 (VDE 0664-40).

The RCCB type B are suitable for non-linear circuits that can generate residual currents with smooth DC residual currents and with a wide variety of (high) frequencies.
