7.5" E-Paper Raw Panel - Laminated Glass (800x480)

Now this is a BIG ePaper panel! Measuring at a relatively colossal 7.5" (compared to the smaller panels we usually stock), this panel is going to be superb for a large information display - be it for home automation, an impressive weather panel, stock price monitor or other data. The display offers an 800x480 resolution with ~170° viewing angles and uses almost no power at all when not refreshing. This is a raw ePaper panel only - you'll need to buy a driver board to go with it. We have a selection in the store, including an ePaper driver HAT for the Raspberry Pi, a driver shield for the Arduino and even a standalone ESP8266 driver! The great thing about having a separate driver is that it allows you to swap out any of our raw paper panels to suit the project you're working on. ePaper Displays ePaper / eInk displays are designed to replicate the appearance of ink on paper. Unlike regular displays, which lose their image when power is removed, eInk screens are able to hold text and images indefinitely, even without power. ePaper screens are therefore ultra low power, designed to have a wide viewing angle, and additionally have limited reflection under sunlight.
