FT01MHNR Fibre optic transmission module, 650 nm, 1 MBd, horizontal

The Firecomms DC up to 1 MBd RedLink® transmitter is based on the highly reliable Resonant Cavity Light Emitting Diode (RCLED) technology developed by Firecomms. It is installed in a non-conductive RedLink® plastic connector. The housings are compatible with the Versatile Link fibre connector and are optimised for use with Plastic Optical Fibre (POF) and Plastic Clad Silica (PCS) fibres.

The transmitter operates in the industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and supports many industrial applications in which a reliable command and control response is required in electrically harsh environments. The transmitter uses a large aperture (150 µm diameter) that is red (650 nm) and uses eye-safe RCLED based on InGaP/InGaAlP/GaAs technology.
