FT50MHIR Fiber optic transmitter module, 650nm, 50 MBd, horizontal

The Firecomms DC-50 MBd RedLink® transmitter consists of a highly reliable Resonant Cavity Light Emitting Diode (RCLED) with an integrated driver IC as a visible optical transmitter. The device is installed in a miniature housing that can be connected to plug-in lengths of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) or 200 µm Plastic Clad Silica (PCS) fibers. It can transmit 50 MBd digital signals over fiber and operates in the temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. The device can be operated with 5 V or 3.3 V DC and can withstand ± 10% supply fluctuations.
