This temperature sensor has been specially developed for demanding temperature measuring tasks, as they are typically found in motor vehicles. The temperature sensors withstand shocks and vibrations due to their robust overall design. The materials used are oil and fuel resistant and therefore suitable for use in typical mobile applications. At the same time, they supported a wide range of ambient temperatures. The design of the temperature sensors allows air/gas to pass directly through the exposed PT1000A temperature sensing element, providing an accurate and fast response time while mechanically protecting the sensing element.
