The mains adapter connects the LAPP charging station Universal for electric vehicles directly to a CEE socket - for uncomplicated charging at home or on the road. The type 2 coupling of the cable is simply connected to the car, the CEE plug to the CEE industrial sockets, e.g. in hotels, workshops and in the agricultural sector. The charging process starts and ends automatically by the on-board electronics.

The mobile LAPP Mode 2 charging stations automatically recognise which plug-in charging adapter is being used and the electronics regulate the possible maximum charging power. The interchangeable LAPP plug-in charging adapters are resistance-coded and thus the possible maximum charging power is regulated by the electronics.
