The LAPP Mode 2 charger with vehicle-side type 2 coupling and earthing contact plug provides flexibility for mobile charging. The type 2 coupling of the cable is simply connected to the car and the plug to the socket. The LAPP charging station is suitable for plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV).

However, the Basic Type 2 mobile charging station is not only suitable for practical use on the road or for emergencies. In combination with the LAPP wall bracket (LAPP 64710), it can replace the wallbox in your home. The practical storage on the wall also protects the charging station from dirt and damage. The mobile electric car charging station has an integrated control and protection device in the control box (IC-CPD), which takes over the charging control via the charging cable to the vehicle. The charging process is automatically terminated as soon as the battery is fully charged.
