The EFM-01 embedded FPGA module is based on the Xilinx Spartan-3E® FPGA. This logic-optimized FPGA family is ideal for applications where logic densities are more important than I/O count. Combined with the powerful Cypress FX2LP ™ USB 2.0 controller, this FPGA is ideal for embedded control applications, logic integration and DSP co-processing.

USB 2.0 High Speed Performance With the UDK3 API and high-speed USB 2.0 connections, a real-time measurement rate of more than 40 MB/s can be achieved.

Multiple configuration options You can configure the FPGA via the Xilinx Platform Cable (JTAG) using your own UDK-based software with the UDK3 Board Manager or from on-board flash memory. All these options are available at any time - no need to choose between switch and jumper.
