EN40-20N-06 Installation contactor, 2 NO/0 NC, 230 V AC/DC

EN40 4-pin contactors with a width of 54 mm control 3-phase loads up to 40 A and are available in different contact assignments and coil voltages. They switch electric heaters, water heaters, motors for pumps, ventilation and other drives as well as lighting. Thanks to an integrated coil protective circuit, they work with both AC and DC control voltages. The devices are therefore absolutely hum-free and quiet when switching. The EN40s have an integrated switching box that allows you to choose between three modes: Manually switched off (even if the control signal is present), automatic mode (normal contactor function) and manually switched on with the return to automatic mode the next time the coil is supplied with power. This offers several advantages: For example, during commissioning, a function test of the load circuit can be carried out even without a control signal, and if the control signal is present, the load circuit can be switched off quickly and easily at any time. EN40s have an installation design and comply with the household standard EN61095 and more, so they are particularly suitable for distributor installation.
