RFID readers come in many shapes and varieties, one of them – the RDM6300 – operates at 125kHz and comes with an external antenna that can be attached to the case, while the rest of the board is inside the case. Communication is serial (UART), which makes it easy to connect. If you order additional cards / tags with this reader, make sure you use the ones that work at 125 kHz, which is compatible with this reader!
