This small sensor will measure the current that passes through his wire transformer and the information you get in return is in the form of a small stream. That small current will be measured as a voltage drop that is already built into this sensor. The sensor works on the principle of an open transformer. It’s not as complicated as it sounds. For more details, check out the datasheet. Only one wire put through the hole!
