333061 Micro:bit - WiFi:bit, ESP8266, USB-C

The Micro:bit is a circuit board with a wide range of options that is used by many children in schools or hobbyists. Nevertheless, it is tempting to add new functions.

Soldered has therefore decided to develop an expansion module for the Micro:bit that enables an internet connection via WiFi. After all, you can use it to connect your Micro:bit projects to the internet and participate in the Internet of Things. The WiFi:bit extension module is easy to use, either via a MakeBlock extension module or with ready-made Python examples.

Simply insert the Micro:bit into the expansion module, connect the power cable (required) and you're ready to go. Open the examples and start sending and receiving data from the Internet. The WiFi expansion module even has two simple connectors (easyC connectors) that make it easy to connect I2C sensors and actuators to the Micro:bit. Pins are also available on the board that are isolated at the standard distance for breadboard connections or connections with cables to additional components.
