The Pineberry Pi HatDrive! Top is an innovative solution for Raspberry Pi 5 users. The device provides support for NVMe (M-key) M.2 drives in 2230 and 2242 sizes and features a PCIe x1 interface, compatible with both Gen2 and Gen3 standards. The HatDrive TM1S (TOP) also features built-in LED indicators to monitor power voltage and M.2 drive activity. The board format is compatible with the original Raspberry Pi HAT dimensions (65 x 56.50mm) and supports the standard Raspberry Pi HAT 40-pin connector. The chip additionally features a dedicated I2C EEPROM, compatible with the HAT ID, allowing seamless identification and configuration of the device.
