The FRITZ!Box 7690 sets new standards for DSL connections. Equipped with innovative Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 7690 guarantees WLAN connections with transfer speeds of up to 7,200 Mbps. Thanks to advanced technology, even more users can now use the home network simultaneously without any problems. The 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN, 2.5 Gigabit/s LAN and two Gigabit LAN ports enable even faster connections between the network devices and the home network. The FRITZ!Box 7690 also offers enhancements in the smart home sector: the integration of Zigbee means that smart home devices can now be seamlessly integrated into the home network. The FRITZ!OS operating system makes it easy to integrate and control these devices. In addition, the highest security standards (WPA3/WPA2) ensure increased protection.

The new WLAN generation Wi-Fi 7 The FRITZ!Box 7690 brings the high WLAN speed of Wi-Fi 7 to the DSL connection. The new Wi-Fi 7 standard offers advantages on the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands already in use and provides a powerful Wi-Fi mesh. The combination of low latency and high throughput enables high-performance wireless communication for future real-time applications such as virtual reality, cloud computing and gaming. And current applications also benefit from faster connections, even over long distances and for many mobile devices.

Smart home integration: efficient & flexible The FRITZ!Box 7690 makes it easy to integrate Zigbee LED lamps and DECT ULE lamps from various manufacturers into the FRITZ!Box smart home and control them via the app. The integration of Matter, the new IP-based smart home standard, is planned. This means that smart home apps from other manufacturers can control the smart products from FRITZ! centrally in their app. Smart Home devices such as the FRITZ!DECT 302/301 radiator controllers, the FRITZ!DECT 200/210 switchable sockets, the FRITZ!DECT 440 push-button or the FRITZ!DECT 500 LED lamp are controlled via the integrated DECT base. Convenient telephony and versatile multimedia functions An analog telephone and up to six DECT cordless telephones (e.g. FRITZ!Fon) can be registered to the integrated telephone system. Five integrated answering machines, local and online telephone directories and numerous convenience functions round off the wide range of features. The media server distributes stored movies, music and pictures in the home network. The FRITZ!Box 7690 also has additional connection options such as a 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port, a 2.5 Gigabit/s LAN port and two Gigabit LAN ports. This makes it easy to integrate network devices such as printers and storage media into the home network.
