Digital Interface and Control The HAKKO FX-888DX Digital Soldering Station improves the user interface from the previous FX-888D model by making it significantly easier to adjust and verify your heat settings. By combining a digital display with a physical temperature dial, setting your temperature is incredibly easy. To ensure a smooth soldering experience, this 100W station has been designed with a number of key operational upgrades:

* Parameter Lock: A built-in lock prevents accidental digital calibration when you are attempting to change your operating temperature.

* Intuitive Dial: The physical dial makes navigating and adjusting temperatures faster than pressing sequence buttons.

* Ceramic Heating Element: The 65W handpiece utilizes a ceramic heater with a closed-loop sensor, allowing for rapid heat recovery and temperature stability of ±1.8°F (1.0°C).

Please be aware that this soldering iron is rated for 120VAC power only and will not work on 240V power systems. Out of the box, the iron comes equipped with a T18-D16 chisel tip, providing a solid starting point for most through-hole and standard soldering tasks.
