The AT32UC3A is a complete system-on-chip microcontroller based on the AVR32 UC RISC Processor operating at frequencies up to 66 MHz. The AVR32 UC is a powerful 32-bit RISC Microprocessor core designed for cost-sensitive embedded applications with a particular focus on low power consumption, high code density and high performance. The processor implements a memory protection unit (MPU) and a fast and flexible interrupt controller to support modern operating systems and real-time operating systems. Higher computing power can be achieved through a variety of DSP commands. The AT32UC3A has on-chip flash and SRAM memory for secure and fast access. For applications that require additional storage, an external storage interface is available on AT32UC3A0 derivatives.
