Weller PS200A 200mm Miniature Metal Anti-Static Solder Sucker

A hand-held desoldering pump that produces a vacuum by means of a piston, cylinder and spring force.

The spring-loaded piston is tensioned manually by pressing the black button down into the body of the tool. When the button is pressed down sufficiently, it locks into place automatically.

When the release button on the side of the tool is pressed, the piston is moved back suddenly by the spring, creating a vacuum at the nozzle. Operating the tool in this manner and holding the nozzle in close proximity to the molten solder on a heated joint, sucks the liquid solder inside the pump body.

After considerable use, the waste solder can be removed by unscrewing the nozzle tip.
