Vigortronix VTX-148-4001 4kW 230V Isolation Transformer for EV Chargers

A single phase isolation transformer that is designed for use with Electric Vehicle Chargers. The transformer is fitted with an anti-surge module that allows for a very low inrush current (sometimes an issue with transformers of this size and construction).

The multipurpose design makes this transformer suitable for any isolation application, but especially suitable for electric vehicle charging applications where the installer may not have access to a neutral or earth or areas with poor earthing (clay or very dry ground). Ideal for countries with IT electrical grid system where there is no neutral.
