Isabellenhutte PBV-R001-F1-0.5 0R001 ±0.5% Four Terminal Precision Resistor

An 0.001Ω resistor from the PBV Series. Housed in a 4-pin case suitable for PCB mounting this resistor has been especially designed for use at low resistances, giving a component that delivers low temperature coefficient values and independence of the resistance value from consequences arising from the soldering of the component.

The resistor is manufactured from the precision resistance material Manganin and , when combined with the temperature resistant and humidity insusceptible Duroplast cover, gives a device that has high long term stability, low temperature coefficient and low inductance. The shape of the resistor is consistent with that of the latest power transistors so that thermal management is made easier. The resistor is mounted through a central hole or via a spring clip to a heatsink so that the large surface area of the case maximises thermal management.

Suitable applications for this low ohm resistor includes: power modules, frequency converters and switch mode power supplies.
