Hammond PJU12106L IP66 Type 4X GRP Junction Box Hinged Lid with Snap Latch

The Hammond PJU Series Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Junction Box is designed for use as an instrument enclosure, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, electrical junction box or terminal wiring enclosure. Provides insulation and watertight protection to IEC 60529, IP66, where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise become very wet. Ideal for use in applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments.

The moulded fibreglass polyester enclosure with matching door, can be easily punched, cut, or drilled. It comes in a light grey finish and features enhanced UV inhibitors to protect against outdoor weathering. The door is supported by a moulded hinge, secured with a stainless steel pin. Snap Latch door fasteners, which include provision for the addition of a padlock are used to secure the door. A captive, oil resistant gasket provides a seal when the door is closed. 10-32 threaded brass inserts are provided on the inside rear of the enclosure, together with mounting hardware, to enable fitting of an optional internal mounting panel. 10-32 threaded brass inserts and stainless steel flanges are provided at the rear of the enclosure for fixing of foot-mount brackets. Mounting hardware is included. Multi-directional mounting of the enclosure is possible, using the Polycarbonate foot-mount brackets provided.

Optional inner panels are available in a white powder coated steel finish.
