Eisco Newton's Cradle Collision Balls

This high quality Newton's Cradle clearly demonstrates the conservation of momentum. As one ball hits another, it's momentum is transferred to it. The balls only slow down due to air resistance and the resistance due to the stiffness of the strings.

The 127mm string length provides a pendulum length of 114mm for the 44g nickel plated stainless steel balls, each 22mm in diameter.
