The Powerline 8 is an intelligent charger that can take 1-8 AA or AAA batteries. It has a charging current of 500mA with individual supervision of each battery. The charger offers multiple over charging protection per battery, auto cut-off function, trickle charging, LED charge state indicators, reverse polarity protection, faulty battery detection and alkaline battery detection.

In addition, the Powerline 8 has a 5V 1000mA USB socket for charging devices with USB connection e.g. mobile phones. Included is a 100-240V AC Power supply with UK and EU interchangeable plugs.
