The VersiStart II 9 PS is a 9A soft start unit that also features reversing and soft stop functions. Thyristors are use to control the soft start and a relay is used for the currentless reversing. Additional features include current monitoring and blocking protection, 4x potentiometers to adjust starting torque, stopping torque, acceleration/deceleration time, overcurrent limit, programmable signalling output, etc. Typical applications for this unit include reversing drives, bridge drives, hoisting gear with blocking protection, conveying systems, actuator in process technology, etc.
