Its footprint has been rotated to accommodate various width SSOP devices, making it suitable for any pin count up to 28 pins. It's primarily designed for 0.65mm pitch devices, but it can also accommodate 0.635mm pitch devices. The board is also compatible with packages that have a lead span ranging from 5.84mm to 8.89mm.These adapters are ideal for use with 40 Pin break-away headers, providing a perfect fit with these custom PCBs. For IC sockets, machine pin headers might be a more suitable option. The pad layout of the board is designed to fit all standard SSOP .65mm and can also accommodate .635mm pitch devices.The dimensions of the different pin adapters are as follows:
