SparkFun Noisy Cricket Stereo Amplifier - 1.5W

The SparkFun Noisy Cricket Stereo Amplifier is a compact and powerful device that uses the LM4853 Boomer® IC. This amplifier can output up to 1.5W of power in mono operation (4Ω load) or 300mW per channel in stereo operation (8Ω load). A dual-ganged pot with a built-in switch allows you to control power and adjust both left and right channel gain. The Noisy Cricket is designed for simplicity with three connection sections: Power, Input, and Output. The power section requires a voltage range of 2.4-5.5VDC. The Input and Output sections are equipped with connections for GND, LEFT IN/OUT, and RIGHT IN/OUT for easy audio input and output. The Output section also includes an extra pin labeled "MONO" for mono operation, enabling the left and right input channels to drive a single speaker. This full output power can be achieved by soldering two jumper pads on the back of the board labeled ENABLE MONO OUTPUT and MONO BASS BOOST.SparkFun Noisy Cricket Amplifier is a portable and versatile device.
