SparkFun Qwiic Haptic Driver Kit - DA7280

The SparkFun Qwiic Haptic Driver Kit - DA7280 is a comprehensive package that includes a compact Linear Resonant Actuator (LRA) vibration motor, wires, and the breakout board for Dialog Semiconductor's DA7280 motor driver IC. This kit is designed for applications that require haptic feedback where the vibration motor needs to be mounted separately from the board. Please note that you will need to manually solder the wires and motor to the board.The DA7280 allows you to control the vibration motor via I2C, PWM, or a combination of three general-purpose input pins. The Qwiic system makes connecting it to your system a breeze, with no soldering required. However, 2.54mm-spaced PTH pads are included if you prefer to use a breadboard to access the driver's I2C, power, interrupt, and general-purpose input pins on the edge of the board.This board is an excellent choice for projects requiring a physical indicator when an event is triggered. For example, you can add it to your remote control to alert you when your robot has hit a wall. Or, pair it with an accelerometer to remind you to correct your posture. You can even use it with a distance sensor to alert you when someone is approaching your desk.The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This design reduces the amount of required PCB space and the polarized connections ensure you can't connect it incorrectly.The kit includes:
