Sparkfun MyoWare 2.0 Cable Shield

The MyoWare® 2.0 Cable Shield is a versatile accessory for the MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor. It provides an option to use the muscle sensor without attaching the board directly to your body. This is made possible by the 3.5mm TRS jack that allows you to connect a traditional three electrode sensor cable. The shield also includes snap connectors for easy stacking. This shield is particularly useful for non-wearable projects or when targeting muscles that are not suitable for on-board electrode sockets. The MyoWare® 2.0 Cable Shield is part of the MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem. This ecosystem includes shields that interface seamlessly with the MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor. This low-cost, Arduino-compatible, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor from Advancer Technologies offers a revolutionary connector system. This system lets you snap shields together with a compact low profile and connect to a microcontroller's analog input to measure a target muscle's raw, filtered, and rectified electrical activity. It eliminates the need for soldering connections between boards.The MyoWare® 2.0 Cable Shield is a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies.
