SparkFun Air Velocity Sensor Breakout - FS3000-1015 (Qwiic)

The SparkFun FS3000-1015 Air Velocity Sensor Breakout is a highly efficient tool for monitoring airflow in data centers, servers, HVAC and air control systems. It is designed for ease and speed of connectivity, using the Qwiic system. This sensor breakout is centered around the Renesas FS3000-1015, a surface-mount air velocity module that can measure air speeds up to 15m/s. It employs a MEMS thermopile-based sensor and features a digital output with a 12-bit resolution. The sensor is also protected by solid thermal isolation technology and a silicon carbide coating to guard against abrasive wear and water condensation.The SparkFun FS3000-1015 Air Velocity Sensor Breakout is compatible with Arduino, and SparkFun has created a library to help you begin using the sensor quickly. By searching 'SparkFun Air Velocity' in the Arduino library manager, you can easily download and install the necessary software.As part of the SparkFun Qwiic Connect System, this air velocity sensor breakout is designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. The system uses a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, which saves on PCB space and ensures correct connections with its polarized design.The SparkFun FS3000-1015 Air Velocity Sensor Breakout features an I2C address of 0x28, an airflow speed range of 0-15m/s, and a 12-bit resolution. It operates on an input voltage of 2.7-3.3V, typically 3.3V via Qwiic, and has an average current draw of 10mA. The board also includes 2x Qwiic connectors, a PWR LED, and jumpers for LED, I2C, and ADC-REF.
