The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ - 8GB is a compact and powerful tool, housing the core components of a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. It features the BCM2837 processor and 1GB LPDDR2 RAM, complemented with 8GB of eMMC Flash memory. The module is designed to allow designers to utilize Raspberry Pi's hardware and software stack in their own custom systems and form factors. Moreover, it offers additional IO interfaces, extending beyond what is available on the Raspberry Pi model A/B boards. This opens up a myriad of design possibilities. The module is integrated onto a small board measuring 67.6mm x 31mm, which fits into a standard DDR2 SODIMM connector. This gives you the full flexibility of the BCM2837 SoC, meaning that many more GPIOs and interfaces are available than with a standard Raspberry Pi. Designing the Module into a custom system is relatively straightforward, as all the complex components have been incorporated into the Module itself.It's important to note that the CM3+ is electrically and physically identical to the legacy CM3 products, with the exception of a higher CPU z-height. The CM3+ modules require a software/firmware image dated November 2018 or newer to function correctly.Key Features:
