Description The MOC3051M and MOC3052M devices consist of a GaAs infrared emitter diode that is optically coupled to a two-sided silicon alternating current switch (Triac) that does not cross with the zero point. These devices isolate the low-voltage logic of 115-VAC and 240-VAC lines to allow random phase control of high-current Triacs or thyristors. These devices feature greatly improved static dv/dt capability to ensure stable switching behaviour under inductive loads.
