This serial number type iButton is a ruggedly, easy to use device that serves as an electronic registration number for automatic identification. Data is transferred via the 1-Wire protocol, requiring only a single signal lead plus a ground return.

Every device is factory-lasered with a guaranteeed unique 64-bit registration number, allowing for complete traceability. Suitable applications include: access control, workflow tracking, asset management, and inventory control.
