Watertight, Die Cast Aluminium Enclosures - Hammond 1550Z103FBK is a robust thick-walled die-cast aluminum enclosure designed for durability and versatility in various applications. Measuring 98 mm in length, 65 mm in width, and 34 mm in height, this enclosure provides a compact yet spacious environment for electronic components.

* Thick-wall diecast aluminium watertight electronic instrument enclosure. * Rugged diecast aluminium alloy is tough yet easy to machine. * Two piece tongue and groove construction for protection against access of dust and water. * Strong spot-welded bottom flange allows for easy mounting. * Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. * Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder for a lasting finish, even after machining. Finish is applied outside and inside the enclosure. * Lid is secured with either two, four, or six stainless steel Philips head machine screws, depending on enclosure size. * Lid screws are outside the gasket protection area to eliminate the need for O-rings.

* Gasket is pre-formed, one-piece silicone rubber and installs easily into lid groove.

* Gasket has a temperature rating of -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to 302°F).

* cUL and UL listed under file #E71073. * Independently tested to meet IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings. * All sizes except 1550Z101F carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.
