The MPC5xxx family of adapters provides the flexibility of easily changing out PGA adapters or processors to a different pin count without added heat cycles on a target PCB.

A variety of available PGA adapters for MPC56xx and MPC55xx devices provide a quick solution for swapping different pin size processors between test PC boards. Mating BGA sockets are soldered down to the target PCB in place and adapted for quick insertion and extraction. for the different packages of MPC5674F, MPC563x and MPC563xM, MPC5567, MPC5566, MPC5565, MPC5554, MPC5553 or MPC5534 MCUs.
