The low-lane count PCI100x family builds on the legacy of the high-performance Microchip Switchtec family. The PCI100x family of products offers many features of the full-size data center switches in a small lane count format, enabling PCIe connectivity and flexible system design. The PCI1001/5 are package switching devices supporting a single host connection offered in a pre-configured format. The provided configuration file minimizes customer design effort. The PCI1001/5 switch family is composed of a PCIe Base Specification 5.0 compliant switch operating at 16GT/s and supporting up to 16 lanes. Full development support provided by ChipLink Diagnostic and Debug tool suite.
