Waveshare M.2 Adapter with Active Cooler for Raspberry Pi 5

Combining an M.2 NVMe PCIe adapter with an active cooler, this innovative storage and cooling solution from Waveshare allows you to run fast NVMe storage/boot drives whilst also keeping your Raspberry Pi 5 at the right operating temperature. This compact PCIe adapter can accept 2242 or 2230 NVMe SSDs and modules, such as the Raspberry Pi SSD, with securing nuts/fixings included to keep your SSD in place. Onboard LED indicators show NVMe activity, along with a separate LED for power. The adapter is fixed to an active cooler and uses the Raspberry Pi 5 cooler mounting holes to attach the entire assembly to your Pi. This leaves your Raspberry Pi mounting holes free, and only uses two GPIO pins for M.2 power (cable included), keeping the majority of pins free for jumper wires and other hardware. The cooler's fan removes a lot of heat by default, and the fan will only start up when the CPU temperature is at 50°C (default) - however, this can be changed in settings to your desired trigger temperature.
