GW Instek GPT-9513 Multi-Channel Insulation/Dielectric Tester

GW Instek introduces a new multi-channel voltage strength tester - the GPT-9500 series. This series consists of 2 models and each model has an integrated 8-channel scanner. The series complies with the safety regulations: IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB, JIS and other safety regulations. The series aims at the needs of the main test objects of general electronic components or winding components during routine tests.

The GPT-9500 series is a three-in-one multi-channel test device that offers AC resistance (max. 5kV), DC resistance (max. 6kV) and insulation resistance (max. 1000V). The design of the series corresponds to the latest requirements of the standard IEC-61010-2-034 and is built on the output platform of AC 150VA. The status of the 8 channels of the GPT-9513 can be set to H, L or X depending on the test requirements, particularly suitable for winding components such as transformers for conducting mutual tests of several points of individual components. The status of the 8 channels of GPT-9503 only provides the setting of H or X, which was better suited for general components such as passive components for high voltage testing between two points. The GPT-9500 series is equipped with a 4.3" colour LCD (resolution 480 x 272), which provides the user with complete measurement information and a user-friendly user interface, which makes the operation and setting of the parameters easier and more convenient. THE AUTO-Test supports a tabular display, so there is no need to switch the screen to see all test results. At the same time, the series offers the statistical counting function. Users can quickly determine the total number of tests and the number of NO-GOs without having to connect an external counter. All scanning channels are configured on the back of the tester.

The design is not only relatively aesthetic when the tester is mounted on the rack, but can also prevent personal injury by preventing accidental contact during the output process. The break detection feature is intended for the series to avoid misevaluation of the test caused by the break in the wire. Other features and functions of the GPT-9500 series include the export/import function for setting parameters, which can be used to copy the settings of a tester to the same model testers in the production line via a USB flash drive. In this way, the test stations of the production lines can be expanded quickly and the risk of errors caused by repeated inputs can also be avoided; the zero start function, which avoids the influence of instantaneous voltages on the DUT; The interlock function, which is a security hardware structure that allows the user to connect external protection devices.
