This space-saving series is a further development of the semiconductor contactors for which Carlo Gavazzi is very well known. They offer a unique opportunity to save space in the control cabinet compared to the hockey pucks used previously. The RGS is only 17.5 mm wide and has a rated power of up to 90 AAC. An integrated varistor protects the relay from overvoltage, while an LED indicates the switching status. The output connections are made via screw terminals with a captive washer, which enables secure looping, or via a box terminal that can accommodate cables up to 25 mm² (AWG 3). The input connection is either via screw terminals with captive washer or via a plugin spring-loaded terminal. Options with an integrated heat sinks are available in the RGC range. The RGS..DIN offers an option for DIN mounting of the RGS series with a rated power of 10 AAC at 40°C.
